WHAT IS JAMILIEE WORKING ON?

Jamiliee is currently preparing the release of her 12-track debut album, Out of My Hands, arriving early 2026 via EMPIRE. The project blends Western pop with subtle Middle Eastern and Latin American influences, exploring themes of heartbreak, vulnerability, and personal growth.

Out of My Hands represents Chapter One—the moments in life that feel beyond control. Songs move between emotional depth and high-energy release, introducing her voice as both intimate and expansive.

Alongside this release, Jamiliee is developing her second full-length project, The Art of Healing, scheduled for late 2027.

WHAT IS THE ART OF HEALING?

The Art of Healing is a 16-track album that reflects what comes after heartbreak—seen in retrospect. Rather than presenting healing as smooth or constantly joyful, the project explores celebration and restoration as layered, imperfect processes.

The album leans deeper into Afro-pop, integrating mariachi instrumentation and Fairuz-inspired Arabic melodic elements, while weaving French, Arabic, English, and Spanish throughout. Rhythm-forward, elegant, and emotionally grounded, it expands both her sound and her storytelling.

This era also marks a more hands-on creative role for Jamiliee, featuring upbeat tracks produced by herself, including the refined, dance-driven “Elegant” and the Arabic dance-pop track “Moonlight.”

HOW DO THE TWO PROJECTS CONNECT?

Out of My Hands and The Art of Healing exist in conversation.

The first captures the heartbreak of living through change. The second reflects on what healing and celebration look like afterward—not as a straight line, but as movement shaped by memory, culture, and resilience.

Together, they trace an evolving emotional landscape rather than separate eras.

WHY THIS MIXED GENRE?

Fusion Pop gives Jamiliee the freedom to honor all parts of her identity. Her sound draws from Afro rhythms, Arabic melody and ornamentation, Latin movement, and the emotional language of pop—guided by culture, not borders.

For her, it isn’t about fitting into a genre. It’s about creating one—where intimacy, culture, upbeat energy, and emotional depth can live in the same space. A sound that allows vulnerability and celebration to coexist.
