Jamiliee is currently working on releasing her 12 song album, Out of My Hands—a bold debut album integrating Western pop with hints of Middle Eastern and Latin American influences that will transition her music to soley Fusion pop in 2026. This album features emotionally charged tracks like “You Gave Up”, “Soul Crushing,” and “Honestly” alongside high-energy standouts like “Speed Race”, “Talk 2 me” and “Stop Reminiscing.” This project captures themes of heartbreak, resilience, and personal growth. Set for release on July 3rd, 2025 with distribution under Empire Records, “Out of My Hands” positions Jamiliee alongside cutting-edge artists on Empire’s release radar featuring her song, “Stop reminiscing”, marking a powerful entrance into the global pop landscape and setting the stage for what comes next.
where is she from? What got her into music?
Jamiliee was quite literally born into music. Raised in the heart of Houston, Texas, she grew up in a vibrant, multicultural home—her mother, a Syrian-American opera singer and concert pianist, and her father, a proud Latino Business man who helped the star, create music into a reality.
From the moment she could make a sound, Jamiliee was immersed in music. Her mom began training her ear early on—think baby solfege and lullabies with good pitch. By age 3, she was already performing on stage.
While singing was always a passion, everything shifted at 15. That’s when Jamiliee started writing her own songs and lyrics, blending everything she’d learned with her growing creativity. Her first song she wrote that turned a dream into a possible reality, “Past and Future,” opened the door to the commercial pop world and helped shape her early sound as a teenager.
Soon after, she connected with the Grammy-nominated writers and a musical group known as Famasloop in Mexico City, she opened herself to learning by being a sponge and learning everything from how to record vocals to singing in a booth and contract overview at 16. Working with top-tier producers and songwriters, she had been given high level tools—and confidence—to grow as an artist.
Though she never planned on going, Jamiliee auditioned for Berklee in 2021 and began her journey once accepted. That moment wasn’t just a milestone—it was a turning point. She returned to the U.S. after residing in Mexico during covid back in 2020, earned her degree, and began the next chapter of her journey: chasing her dreams with full force despite what came her way.
Since then, she’s been building her sound, her vision, and her name—one song at a time.
Why Fusion Pop? whY MUSIC?
For Jamiliee, music isn’t just something she does—it’s who she is. She’s fully aware that the music industry can be unforgiving, with years of hard work and little return before any breakthrough. But passion made the choice for her. Music feeds her soul, gives her purpose, and is the truest way she knows how to give back to the world.
This isn’t a hobby—it’s a lifestyle.
Fusion Pop became her home because it gave her the freedom to blend everything she loves: the pulse of Afrobeat, Middle eastern melodies and harmony, the emotion of jazz, the rhythm of Latin music, and the global soul of pop. Her sound is shaped by culture, not borders—by emotion, not rules.
Jamiliee has also spent years studying the greats—diving deep into vocal technique, tone, and presence. Icons from every genre have helped shape her voice, not just in sound but in intention.
For her, it’s not just about where you come from—it’s about where you’re headed, and the stories you’re brave enough to tell along the way.
